TabTrade Broker Review - The Good and the Catch

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.

Everything in one place, covering regulation, read more withdrawals, pricing, more info and the get more info bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
